Serious workout
Boxing 10×2’s is a good aerobic workout. I am not teaching the ART of Boxing. You are taught how to throw a punch. 10×2’s Boxing will give you the same attributes as a fighter, timing rhythm, reflexes, balance, eye and hand co-ordination.
I pair up people on the punching pads,first partner does his 1o x 2 minute rounds with a 30 second rest, one punches, the other catches, my workouts are all based on the focus pads and the punching. We warm up, the pads and the puncher, swap so everyone gets a turn! All this is done in 1 solid hour. As a stretch measure, we all warm down. You know you’ve had a workout.
And remember the pads are just a small part of a Boxers training,without getting to technical,the skies the limit,with the amount of invention you can add with the Pads.
All levels
We don’t have ADVANCE or BEGINNER classes because anyone can do this. You go your own pace.
There’s no joining fee at the YMCA and you come and go as you please. All you do is just pay on the day for your workout. You wont be disappointed.
Age is no limit
Any age from 10 years can participate in Boxercise. If a young kid comes, I prefer them to bring a friend with them. I really cannot put a 10yr old kid with an adult, unless its there father, etc.
No experience is required.
First timers to arrive by 6:15pm at the latest at Revesby YMCA.
